Dana Johor Unitholders Can Redeem Units From July 2

JOHOR BAHARU, July 9 (Bernama) -- Eligible Dana Johor (DJ) unitholders may redeem their investments through Johor Corporation's (JCorp) enhanced buy-back scheme offering RM1 for each unit held via Skim Dana Johor RM1 (SDJ1).

Pelaburan Johor Bhd (PJB) in a statement said special counters for the purpose are open on July 2-10 at the level 1 foyer of Persada Johor during office hours, and will move next to the PJB office on level 4 on July 11-13.

"After July 13, DJ unitholders may redeem their units at the PJB office, Room 402, Level 4, Persada Johor. Closing date for redemption is July 1 2013," it said.

DJ unitholders are advised not to rush to avoid overcrowding at the counters as they still have a long time to do it, and to refer their enquiries to the PJB officer on duty or the PJB office at 07-2230350.

Starting April the banks have imposed a 50 sen processing fee on top of the 15 sen stamp duty on each cheque. The fee also applies to those applying for a Bankerís Cheque, Bank Draft and Cashierís Order. Do you think this additional charge is justified?
