Takaful IKHLAS, Agrobank Introduce Family Takaful Product Agro Mabrur-i

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 19†(Bernama) -- Takaful Ikhlas Berhad (Takaful IKHLAS) in collaboration with Agrobank†launched Agro Mabrur-i,†a product under Tenang†Protection Scheme†which†provides a protection card and claim payment†within 24 hours for death expenses.

Takaful IKHLAS in a statement today said Agro Mabrur-i, a family takaful†plan underwritten by Takaful IKHLAS†is†offered specially to†Agrobank†customers and the public.

According to the statement, this affordable product offers benefits of up to RM13,000 for death or total†permanent disability due to natural causes†and†benefits of up to RM26,000 for death or total permanent disability due to accident with an annual†contribution of as low as RM75 per year or equivalent to RM0.21†a†day.

"The group packages offered to associations or companies can be subscribed annually at†as low as RM40 with a coverage of RM5,000 for minimum participation of 20 people.

Takaful IKHLAS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Berhad (MNRB) while Tenang†Protection Scheme was launched by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) on Nov 24, 2017 in conjunction with the Financial Carnival in Kuching, Sarawak.

Takaful IKHLAS and Agrobank†had initially launched the Agro Nurani product, a Takaful plan created†specifically for People with Disabilities†(OKU) in January 2017.

Takaful IKHLAS†which commenced operations in July 2003 is listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities.

On May 5, 2014, Takaful IKHLAS changed its status to be a public company.

Takaful IKHLAS has 13 regional offices operating in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Kelantan, Johor, Kedah, Sarawak, Melaka, Sabah, Pahang, Perak, Terengganu, Putrajaya†and Negeri Sembilan.

Currently the company†has over two million registered†policy†holders and more than 6,000 agents nationwide.
