Takaful Malaysia, AmBank Islamic Ink Bancatakaful Partnership

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 5 (Bernama) --†Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Bhd has inked†a strategic bancatakaful partnership with AmBank Islamic Bhd to†provide†Takaful Malaysia access to market its general takaful products to AmBank Islamic's customer base across the country.

Takaful†Malaysia Group Chief Executive Officer†Datuk Seri†Mohamed Hassan Kamil†said as a pioneer in the takaful industry, they are†geared up at the opportunity to bring its†general†solutions and leading digital technology to serve the evolving needs of AmBank Islamic customers.

"This partnership is timely for both Takaful Malaysia and AmBank Islamic to create value for our customers, employees and shareholders."

"We are combining our expertise in providing high-quality takaful products with AmBank Islamic's extensive distribution network to offer consumers a convenient access to takaful solutions for their protection needs," he said in a statement today.

AmBank Islamic Chief Executive Officer†Eqhwan Mokhzanee†said the partnership†would†definitely increase its†takaful business portfolio and further fortify its position†as a preferred provider of Islamic financial solutions.

At the initial stage of the partnership, AmBank Islamic would distribute general takaful products for motor, fire/house and personal accident. These will be distributed across AmBank Islamic's distribution channels, nationwide.

The†collaboration, which commenced on Sept 5, 2017, would†also witness†both companies working together to promote new general takaful solutions tailored to AmBank Islamic customers.
