Pixelated Inks MoUs With Four Companies To Boost Adoption Of UBI

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 5 (Bernama) --†Pixelated Sdn†Bhd has signed memorandums†of understanding (MoUs) with Allianz Malaysia Bhd, Etiqa Insurance Bhd, Etiqa Takaful Bhd and Axiata Business Services Sdn†Bhd†to embark on a collaboration to help boost adoption of usage-based insurance (UBI) in Malaysia.

Under†the collaboration, Pixelated, which owns the Katsana†brand tracking solution, will leverage on its experience in telematics and big data to provide a UBI platform to Allianz Malaysia, Etiqa Insurance†and Etiqa Takaful†to develop UBI products for their customers.

"In addition, the parties involved will work together with Katsana to improve its newly launched DriveMark telematics app†as a means to collect driving behaviour data, as well as explore innovative yet fun ways in encouraging app users to improve their driving behaviour.

"Furthermore, they will also be promoting DriveMark through their respective channels," Pixelated said in a statement today.

Pixelated†is†a data company focusing†on UBI†and connected cars. Katsana's†prediction and gamification engine excels in understanding driver behaviour patterns, scoring drivers based on actual risk on the road, and engage them to become better drivers.

Katsana works with motor insurers and auto manufacturers to enable safer roads for all†through a unified and application programming interface-centric automotive platform.
