KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6 (Bernama) -- The government has agreed to pull back the introduction of an end of life policy for vehicles after taking into account the people's views and feedback.
AFFORDABLE PEOPLE-MOVER… Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional's new multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) Proton Exora was unveiled by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on April 15. Powered by a 125 horsepower Campro CPS 1.6 litre engine and has maximum torque of 150Nm, the seven-seater Exora is available in six choice of colours and comes in two variants - the 5-gear manual transmission M-Line (RM69,998), and the 4-gear automatic transmission Hi-Line (RM75,998). At RM38,888 (on-the-road with insurance) the Chana Era CM8 Standard Solid is currently Malaysia's cheapest MPV. Put in another RM5,000 for the Premium Solid variant; which features ABS brakes, a stereo radio with CD player, electric power steering and 14-inch alloy wheels. Both variants are powered by Suzuki-based 1,310cc inline-4 16-valve engine.
